When most people think of camping, they think of the campfire. Yet many people are unfamiliar with the fundamentals of building, lighting and maintaining a fire. In this class we will not only teach you how to start a one match fire, but will also teach fire building with NO MATCHES!   Two primitive friction fire methods will be covered, as well as the use of modern tools such as flint and steel.  Whether you are an experienced camper or have never started a campfire yourself, this class will give you the skills to start a fire in any conditions Arkansas has to offer.
