Tracking I

This workshop explores the basic interpretive skills of mammal tracking.  Specifically, participants learn how to answer the core questions of:

  • Who: Identification of Species
  • What: Interpretation of Movement
  • Where: Finding the next track & Trailing
  • When: Aging tracks and sign
  • How: Behavioral Interpretation
  • Why:  Understanding the animal's movement in the context of the land.



    You will also walk away with many valuable exercises you can do on your own to grow in each of these skills.  Take this class and you will never look at the ground the same way again.  It will become a manuscript yielding many fascinating stories.
